Introduction to my blog

Hello, my name is Helen Searle and I am sixteen years old. I have decided to set up a blog because I want to become successful in journalism. I have written several articles for my local paper and they have proved to be very popular. I specialise in film and theatre reviews and reviews of local school productions. Here are examples of the articles that I have written so far: a review of the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough, a review of a school production ” A Difference of Opinion”, ” The Woman in Black” film review and a review of the popular ” The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel”. I enjoy writing articles and the satisfaction after one has been in the paper is very high. I have a specific style that I follow when writing my newspaper articles, I like to watch a production or a film and spend some time thinking about what I have just watched, I then write from the heart. I believe in developing my writing skills over a period of time and I think my creation of this blog will help. On my blog I hope to show all of the articles that have been published and to keep the world updated with my future plans in journalism.
